Job Description

  • Performs network design activities for the Radio Access Network (RAN).
  • Analyzes, designs, and optimizes wireless networks to drive improvements in functionality, performance, and efficiency.
  • Uses propagation models, predictive analysis, engineering principles, and various tools/processes to make network additions and changes aligned with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Creates design plans for network expansion and/or modification.
  • Collaborates with multiple teams to ensure engineering designs are implemented as intended and quality issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Performs GIS (Geographic Information Systems) activities, including analysis of RAN data, to create design plans that improve key indexes and performance indicators.

  • Provided end-to-end support for all stages of RF Design including P-RFDS, CD review, RF CIQ, E911, Port Matrices, and closeout package reviews for the Chicago market.
